Just work with it

Large digital display. Adjustable to mm and inch. Zero point adjustable. Solid guide rod. High-quality workmanship. The rider slides easily. Unfortunately, the accuracy 1/100mm is not really to be checked, unless you have a gauge with a tolerance of 1/1000. Fine adjustment with knurled screw. The comparison with an old analogue teaching, however, suggests a high quality product. Test: 8mm screw measured - shows a calibration 1/100mm. In the meantime, I no longer use any other measuring tool in the specified dimension range of 600mm. The measuring path goes slightly beyond 600mm.
Tape mass and the catastrophic measuring tools of e.g. LuxTools are a thing of the past.
The measuring tool is heavy and cannot be operated with one hand. Tearing therefore makes some problems, but can be accomplished if you put the gauge on the workpiece and tilt a bit. The measure has the classic tongues for internal and external dimensions.
From my point of view, a longer calliper makes little sense, since the wakelige “manual” setting of the teaching already leads to inaccuracies. I use the measure above all for adjusting the guide rail of my Festool saw.

Works Great. Use it a lot.

The only thing I can say that is bad is you need to remove the battery to save battery life. The battery will go dead in about 4 weeks if you leave it in the caliper all the time. Otherwise it a good value for the price.
